Tourist Visa UAE
Before deciding whether to set up your business in Dubai a good first step would be to visit the city first. A tourist visa enables you to visit, meet with advisors, view potential office spaces and assess the market without having to commit to a full relocation.

Dubai Visit Visa Price
One of the most common questions we get about the Dubai tourist visa is how much does it cost? For British passport holders you receive a free 90-day multiple-entry UAE tourist visa for no cost. Remember, your passport must be valid for six months from the date of your arrival.
But, if you are a UK resident not a British citizen, you must apply for a tourist visa in advance. You can do this online or through a licensed travel agent. The price of a Dubai tourist visa varies depending on duration and the type of visa that you need. To see the most up to date costs, look at the official UAE government channels.
Not sure which visa is right for you? Contact our team and we will guide you in the right direction.
Please Note: UAE tourist visas do not allow you to work or operate a business in Dubai. When you are ready to establish your business, ensure you get a UAE resident visa and trade license.
At Dubai Pivot, we will guide you through exactly what is required and ensure that your visit is productive.

Frequently Asked Questions
If you are a British citizen, just show your passport on arrival at Dubai International Airport. If you aren’t then you can submit your application online through the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, Dubai Government Portals or a licensed travel agent.
Yes. You can usually extend tourist visas for an additional 30 days twice without having to leave the country. To apply for an extension use the GDRFA website or go to an authorised Amer Centre.
If you overstay you can incur a fine of AED 50 for the first day and AED 100 for every day afterwards. There is no grace period, so you must extend or depart ahead of your visa expiring.
You must have a valid return ticket and proof of sufficient funds, usually around AED 3,000 or USD 4,000, this depends on the length of your trip. We do not advise using dummy tickets as there is now increased scrutiny upon entry. You must also have a valid UAE health insurance policy.
